The purpose of this site is to represent the business of the Harvard Business Press to the following audiences:

  • Primary audience: Retailers (booksellers); Authors and Potential authors; Literary Agents; Distributors; International (translation) Publishers, International Agents, Scouts
  • Secondary audience: Bulk and Corporate purchasers, Media and Book Reviewers, Educators, Librarians
  • Tertiary audience: Individual Managers (we want to direct this audience to HarvardBusiness.org)

The design of this page should be flexible enough to accommodate book and non-book style posts. A book post will display the book graphic as well as a link to the Google book page. a non-bookstyle page may or may not have a photo, and will NOT have a link to a Google books page.

Right side column should feature 3 most recent posts from the  “featured” category with title, excerpt, and thumbnail of graphic

Books page

  • Top should feature 3 most recent posts from the  “featured” category with title, full post, and full sized graphic.
  • All “non news” categories should be displayed listing category name, link to category list, and category description.
